Hello,

I'm MARTA

aka your Wedding Photographer

I fell in love with wedding photography almost instantly. There is something incredibly special about being trusted to document one of the most meaningful days in someone’s life.

The emotions, the people, the atmosphere - it’s different every time, and that’s exactly what I love about it.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph beautiful weddings filled with laughter, happy tears and unforgettable moments. I am the most grateful for it.

Who I am outside photography

Outside of photography, I’m a mum to two energetic boys and a wife to my wonderful husband. Family is a huge part of my life, and I think that’s one of the reasons weddings mean so much to me.

I come from a big family myself - I have three sisters - and I love my family to bits. Life growing up was always full of people, conversations, laughter and the kind of moments that later become the best memories.

Through my husband I also gained a big Italian family, which means even more gatherings, even more stories, and usually a table full of incredible food.

Our home is a mix of languages and cultures - I speak Polish, Italian and English (obv!)  - and life is usually full of noise, football, laughter and a lot of pasta.

When I’m not photographing weddings you’ll most likely find me spending time watching my boys playing football, meeting up with friends who are my chosen family or planning our next trip. We love travelling and visiting our families abroad, which means our lives are often split between different countries, cultures and lots of time together around big family tables.

And I think being surrounded by so much family is exactly why photographing people and relationships means so much to me.

My approach

It’s simple - I photograph weddings as they naturally unfold.

I’m there to capture the real moments and the real emotions that make your day yours. The quiet excitement before the ceremony, the hugs from the people you love most, the laughter, the happy tears and the chaos on the dance floor.

I mostly observe and document what’s happening naturally, allowing the day to flow without interruptions or constant posing.

But when the moment feels right, I love to step in and gently guide you. Creating a few editorial-style portraits that feel stylish and beautiful, while still staying true to who you are.

Nothing forced, nothing overly posed - just a balance of real moments and thoughtful direction.

The goal is always the same: photographs that feel emotional, honest and timeless, with a touch of style.

Why I do this

I truly believe photographs become more valuable with time.

They are little pieces of life we get to hold onto. Moments that would otherwise pass quietly and disappear with time.

A photograph can bring you back to a feeling, a place, a person. It can remind you of laughter, of love, of the people who were there beside you.

Sometimes the moments that end up meaning the most are the simplest ones - a hug, a look, a quiet moment between two people.

That’s why photography means so much to me.

It’s not just about creating beautiful images. It’s about preserving pieces of life and emotion that would otherwise fade with time.

Long after the day has passed, photographs remain.

They become memories you can see, share and return to again and again.

And being trusted to capture those moments for someone is something I will never take for granted.

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Marta was so kind while taking pictures of our elopement- literally went above and beyond! Willing to carry our stuff to get the perfect shot (which she did)- she brought so much fun to the day and was even one of our witnesses. We are so eternally grateful, as two people who didn't know Edinburgh at all she made us feel right at home. If your looking for a photographer seriously look no further.
