Laura & Teddy’s Beautiful Wedding in Leith and Dunbar
There are some weddings that just feel magical from the very beginning — and Laura and Teddy’s day was exactly that. From the soft morning light in their cosy home to golden-hour portraits by the harbour, their wedding was filled with love, laughter, and the kind of moments that make you fall in love with photography all over again.

Getting Ready at Home
The morning started at Laura’s home, where the energy was already buzzing. She got ready with her twin sister, Lisa, and their brothers with their partners — a proper family affair filled with laughter, teasing, and the occasional happy tear. Laura looked absolutely radiant in her Carolyn Baxter dress — elegant, timeless, and so her.
Meanwhile, Teddy was just a short walk away at Tauchters Landing, enjoying a relaxed pint with his groomsmen before heading to the ceremony. I love when couples really take in those small, quiet moments before the big “I do.”

Ceremony at The Custom House, Leith
The ceremony took place at Custom House in Leith — one of my favourite Edinburgh venues with its elegant, historic charm. The room was filled with light and emotion as Tracy Doll led a heartfelt ceremony that perfectly reflected Laura and Teddy’s story.
As they exchanged vows, surrounded by their closest friends and family, there was this beautiful mix of laughter and happy tears — the kind of moments that remind me why I adore capturing weddings.

Drinks at Hemmingway’s, Leith
After the ceremony, everyone strolled over to Hemmingway’s for drinks — such a fun and relaxed idea. The atmosphere was so lively, with friends chatting by the water, glasses clinking, and that unmistakable buzz of post-ceremony excitement.

First Photoshoot — Leith Magic
Before heading to Dunbar, we had our first photoshoot right there in Leith. The cobbled streets, pastel-coloured doors, and harbour views made the perfect backdrop. Laura and Teddy were absolute naturals — relaxed, playful, and totally wrapped up in each other.

Reception at The Harbour Chapel, Dunbar
From Edinburgh to Dunbar, the celebrations continued at The Harbour Chapel — a stunning, atmospheric venue by the coast. It was the perfect spot for an evening filled with heartfelt speeches, great food, and lots (and lots) of dancing.
Danny Scrimshaw kept everyone on their feet, and the energy never dipped. You could just feel the joy radiating through that room.

Second Photoshoot — By the Dunbar Harbour
Just before sunset, we snuck out for our second photoshoot by the harbour. The golden light hit the water perfectly — it was calm, romantic, and simply beautiful. Those are always my favourite moments — when the couple can step away for a few minutes and just be.
