A Laid-Back Love Story:

Rebecca & Steve’s Colourful Edinburgh Wedding Adventure

Some weddings are full of tradition, and others… well, they’re full of pizza, pasta, and dancing until the early hours. Rebecca & Steve’s day was absolutely the latter—and it suited them perfectly.

From the moment I met them, I knew their wedding was going to be a blast. They’re such a fun, cool couple, full of colour and energy, and with their two gorgeous daughters by their side, it was bound to be a day brimming with love and laughter.

A First Look to Remember

Before the celebrations, Rebecca & Steve shared a first look one of my favourite parts of any wedding day. There’s always so much anticipation in the air, and theirs was no exception. The look on Steve’s face when he saw Rebecca was priceless- pure joy and admiration.

Thay said I DO at Edinburgh City Chambers in the beautiful Alexander Suite. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, it was an intimate and heartfelt ceremony that perfectly reflected who they are—warm, relaxed, and full of joy.

Walking Through the Heart of Edinburgh

We didn’t have a huge, staged photoshoot, but that’s what made it so special. Instead, we wandered the streets of Edinburgh, capturing natural, relaxed shots as we made our way from the City Chambers. The cobbled streets, the grand architecture—it all became the perfect backdrop to their love story.

Pizza as the First Meal - Yes, Please!

After the ceremony, the first stop was Pizza Posto -how cool is that? Forget the formal sit-down meal; Rebecca & Steve gathered their closest family and friends for pizza, pasta, and plenty of laughs. It was such a relaxed, joyful atmosphere-exactly the way they wanted it.

🍕✨ Rebecca & Steve couldn’t resist having a few fun shots inside Pizza Posto, and the results were as joyful and colourful as they are. From clinking glasses of wine to stealing a cheeky slice mid-photo, the images captured the laid-back spirit of their day perfectly. I absolutely LOVED IT! Every little minute of it.

Party at The Counting House

Once everyone was full of pizza goodness, we strolled again -this time from Pizza Posto to The Counting House, where the real party began. All of Rebecca & Steve’s friends joined in, and the place came alive with dancing, laughter, and the kind of atmosphere only they could create.

A Day That Felt Like Them

What I loved most about this wedding is how authentically Rebecca & Steve made it their own. No fuss, no unnecessary traditions just a day that celebrated who they are as a couple: vibrant, laid-back, and full of love for their family and friends.

It was the perfect reminder that weddings don’t have to follow any rules. Pizza, pasta, a wander through Edinburgh, and a massive party? Count me in every time.
