I had the absolute joy of photographing Occy and Ben’s wedding in the heart of Edinburgh—and let me tell you, it was a day full of style, laughter, and that effortless kind of love that makes you feel lucky just to witness it.

Occy, meanwhile, was all elegance with her bridal look—modern, understated, and so her. When it was time for their first look, we found a quiet spot where the world seemed to pause just for them. Ben’s face as he saw Occy for the first time? Pure magic. That moment set the tone for the whole day—joyful, intimate, and absolutely theirs.

City Strolls and Edinburgh Backdrops


One of the things I love most about Edinburgh weddings is how the city itself becomes part of the story. From the cobbled streets to historic archways, every corner feels cinematic. We wandered through the Royal Mile, letting the crowds cheer and smile as this gorgeous couple strolled by.

Saying “I do”


The ceremony was simple and heartfelt, surrounded by close family. There were tears, laughter, and plenty of little glances between Occy and Ben that said everything words couldn’t.

A city Stroll


A casual walk from City Chambers to Montrose was just perfect for the couple photoshoot.

We walked, we laughed, we waved to tourists.

Stoped in few spots before reaching the restaurant. They made the city their own for a day, and I couldn’t be happier to have been there capturing it all.

A Lunch at Montrose


It was time to celebrate with a relaxed lunch at Montrose, one of Edinburgh’s loveliest wine bars. Friends joined and the atmosphere was even more beautiful. Honestly, it was the perfect choice, its laid-back elegance matched their vibe completely. Glasses of wine clinked, plates of incredible food were passed around, and the room was filled with conversation and warmth.


It didn’t feel like a formal reception—it felt like gathering at your favourite spot with all your favourite people. Which is exactly what Occy and Ben wanted.

Occy and Ben’s day reminded me exactly why I love being a wedding photographer in Edinburgh—the city always brings its charm, but it’s the people who make it magic. From that unforgettable first look to the laughter over glasses of wine at Montrose, their wedding was full of heart and personality.

Every detail felt so true to them—stylish, relaxed, and brimming with joy. I left the day with a full heart (and a very full memory card!) knowing these two had written the first chapter of their marriage in the most perfect way.
